Breakfast on the balcony was a highlight, with a delicious spread of fresh croissants, homemade preserves, fruits, cereals. Rachel, the host, was charming and knowledgeable, sharing interesting stories about the house and showing us her lovely garden filled with plants from her herbalist work. Cons: Nothing, all excellent! 😊.

I absolutely adored the charming and tasteful decor of the hotel. The beautiful furnishings and elegant ambiance made me feel like I was staying in a grand country house. The general areas, such as the garden and terrace, were also very well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. It was a delight to relax in such a lovely setting and spend time reading or enjoying a cup of tea in the sunshine.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the children working there in terms of organizing activities specifically catered to senior guests.

We had a comfortable stay at La Maison Botanique, using it as a 1-night stopover before a wedding at a local Chateau. The host, Rachel, was incredibly accommodating and provided a wonderful continental breakfast. The bedroom was chic and the bed was great. Rachel also gave us excellent ideas for things to do during our stay. A lovely guesthouse in an excellent location.
Can just recommend this hotel.
